You can volunteer at the shelter and help clean or socialize the animals.
You do have to be 18 or older. Call for class training date.
This is not easy
work at all -- but very very rewarding!
YOUR SUPPORT:
Shelter needs supplies! How and What Examples:
Dish soap, laundry soap, bedding, used towels, hand cloths, old pet
toys, food can or dry for cats and dogs, cat litter.

YOUR DONATION:
The city budget is limited. The shelter only gets a share. Care,
medications, feeding is a great expense well beyond the pencils and pens
that get used. A cash donation, even a few dollars, can be very helpful.
Cash donations will only be used for medication, shots, food, cat litter.
Few, if any, exceptions to this rule. Lynn Schumacher, the director,
is wonderful and caring and guards donation money to insure it is only
used for animals.
